| Duration | The course takes one day and is usually followed the same day by the assessment - a short multiple-choice examination. A handbook covering all information needed for the examination is available from Knight Training. |
| Target Audience | The BIIAB Level 2 NCL (DA) is designed to give premises licence holders and managers a basic knowledge and understanding of the law pertaining to the misuse and supply of controlled drugs on licensed premises. |
| Assessment method | A short multiple-choice examination |
| Key Issues | The course gives a basic knowledge of the law pertaining to the misuse and supply of controlled drugs on licensed premises. It provides guidelines to help deal with any drug related problems on the premises and on the development of strategies to prevent such problems arising. |
| Certificate | Upon successful completion, a nationally recognised certificate awarded by BIIAB stating that the candidate has successfully achieved the BIIAB Level 2 NCL (DA) is awarded. |
