| Duration | Each unit has been designed to be completed in one day supported by self-study. There is a one-hour examination for each unit. |
| Target Audience | The BIIAB PBP is a professional development programme for experienced licensed retailers and key staff who want to improve their skills. |
| Assessment method | Candidates may take any or all units in whatever order they wish. However, the BIIAB PBP is a nationally accredited series of qualifications and on successful completion of specified units, candidates may achieve the following nationally recognised qualifications the BIIAB Level 3 ACLH and the BIIAB Level 3 DLH |
| Key Issues | The BIIAB PBP has one simple aim, to improve business skills and give practical knowledge which will help profitability, productivity and careers. The qualification is aimed at experienced licensed retailers and anyone who owns or manages a licensed hospitality business, including Pubs, Bars, Hotels, Restaurants, Night-clubs and any other venue or site where alcohol is sold. |
| Certificate | The BIIAB Level 3 ACLH and the BIIAB Level 3 DLH, each unit is a stand-alone qualification and will be individually certificated. |
| Syllabus | The BIIAB Profitable Business Portfolio consists of three core units and ten optional units. On successful completion of the three core units candidates will achieve the BIIAB Level 3 Advanced Certificate in Licensed Hospitality.
There are 13 units altogether covering all aspects of running a licensed hospitality operation, the BIIAB PBP delivers real business benefits, key to running a successful business. |
